We are not a large company — do we really need this? +
Yes. Cyber attacks are aimed precisely at mid-market companies because there is often less protection there. You don't need bank-level architecture, but pragmatic basics: multi-factor authentication, tested backups, trained employees. That prevents most damage.
What does a security concept cost? +
An assessment with recommendations typically runs 1,500–3,000 euros. Implementation depends on the current state — for many mid-market companies 5,000–15,000 euros covers basic security. Ongoing operation runs about 5–15 euros per employee per month (backup, endpoint protection, monitoring).
What is the difference between backup and synchronization? +
Synchronization (e.g. OneDrive, Dropbox) means: when you delete a file, it is deleted everywhere. Backup means: there are versions over several days or weeks from which you can restore. Synchronization is not backup. We set up both in parallel.
What about GDPR? +
GDPR does not require a specific security level, but one that fits the size and nature of your data. We help with risk analysis, the records of processing activities, the agreement with processors. In case of a notification obligation (data breach), you know what to do.
Do we have to train all employees regularly? +
Recommendation: once a year, a compact training on phishing, passwords, privacy. Supplemented by test phishing emails (with learning effect, not for blame). That prevents most successful attacks — humans are the easiest gate.
