FAQ
Frequent questions.
What prospects typically ask about ERP Systems — answered from 400+ projects.
What is an ERP system actually? +
ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning — simplified: software that connects all important areas of a company (orders, warehouse, purchasing, accounting, customer management). Instead of five isolated solutions there is one central data foundation. Everyone on the team sees the current state.
How long does a rollout take? +
For a mid-market company we estimate eight to twenty weeks — depending on scope and how much data needs to be migrated. Discovery and blueprint take two to four weeks, then comes build, test, and training.
Which system do you recommend? +
It depends on your industry and size. weclapp is our recommendation for German-speaking mid-market with focus on trade and manufacturing. Zoho One fits service companies that need many apps. Odoo is flexible for individual customizations. We decide together in the discovery workshop.
What happens to our existing data? +
We migrate customers, products, open orders, and stock into the new system. Before go-live there is a test run where you check that everything was migrated correctly. Only then do we go live.
What does an ERP rollout cost? +
There is no flat rate — every project is different. After the discovery day (free) and the blueprint (two to four weeks) you receive a written, transparent effort estimate with traceable line items. Only then do you decide.
What happens if something doesn't work after rollout? +
We don't deliver and disappear. After go-live there are four weeks of hypercare (intensive support), then ongoing support via SLA contract. Architects keep the building maintained.
