Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace — which fits us? +
Microsoft 365 is standard for most German mid-market companies — Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams are familiar to most. Google Workspace is standard for tech-savvy teams and for companies with lots of real-time collaboration. In the discovery workshop we decide together what fits your way of working.
What happens to our existing emails and contacts? +
During migration we take over all emails, contacts, calendar entries. Ideally employees only notice: login credentials change, otherwise everything stays as before. Before the cutover we test the migration with a few accounts.
What about data privacy and GDPR? +
Both providers (Microsoft, Google) have EU-compliant contracts and EU hosting options. We set up your cloud suite with the right privacy settings and provide templates for your privacy policy. Sensitive data can additionally be encrypted in subcontractors.
Do we still need an IT service provider? +
Cloud suites greatly reduce maintenance effort, but they don't replace it. Maintaining permissions, setting up new employees, solving outages — those remain tasks. We take this on as part of our IT services if you want.
How long does the changeover take? +
A migration for 10–30 employees typically takes two to six weeks — depending on data volume and complexity of existing structures. The noticeable changeover for employees usually happens over one weekend.
